1. Definitions

• “BubzRides,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to the BubzRides platform, a technology-based coordination tool for third-party child pickups.
• “You” or “Member” refers to the parent, guardian, or authorized user enrolling on our platform.
• “Driver” refers to an independently listed individual on the BubzRides platform who has completed verification steps and is available for hire by parents.
• “Service” refers to the platform features provided by BubzRides, including driver discovery, pickup authorization tools, logs, scheduling tools, and membership access.
• “Platform” refers to the digital service provided by BubzRides through its web application.

2. Enrollment & Registration Fee

• To access full features of the BubzRides platform (including the driver directory and request system), a paid membership is required:
• The membership fee is $199 per household, billed every 5 months (rolling).
• Membership grants access to:
  • The verified driver directory
  • Ride request and chat tools
  • Safety badge visibility
  • Pickup/drop-off logs and QR authorization

Membership does not include per-ride payments, these are arranged directly between parents and drivers.

3. Weekly Ride Fees & Billing

• BubzRides does not set ride fares or process ride-related transactions directly.
• We facilitate direct parent-to-driver payments through Stripe Connect, include an optional 5–10% platform fee.
• Optional services or tools (such as dashcam or GPS software) are available via affiliate links; BubzRides may receive a commission.

• Membership fees are non-refundable, except in cases of verified platform access issues.
• Parents are responsible for arranging and managing scheduling, cancellations, and payments with their selected driver.
• BubzRides is not responsible for no-shows, late arrivals, or missed rides.

5. Use of the Platform

• BubzRides does not dispatch or assign drivers.
• Parents select and contract directly with drivers through the platform tools.
• Drivers operate independently and are not employed by BubzRides.
• BubzRides offers verification tools such as background checks, document uploads, and compliance badges but makes no guarantees regarding individual performance.

6. Driver Directory Access & Restrictions

• Driver profiles are only accessible to subscribed members.
• Driver contact information or personally identifiable details (PII) are never shared until a ride request is initiated.
• Unauthorized scraping, copying, or misuse of the directory is strictly prohibited.

7. Pickup & Drop-off Logs

• All pickup and drop-off events are logged via QR scan or manual timestamping by the driver.
• Logs may include geolocation and optional photo proof, stored for reference by parents and (if applicable) schools.
• BubzRides is not responsible for incorrect logging or miscommunication between families and drivers.

8. Liability & Indemnification

• BubzRides is a coordination platform and not a transportation provider.
• BubzRides does not control, supervise, or assume responsibility for drivers’ actions.
• You agree to release and indemnify BubzRides from any claims or damages arising from use of the platform or rides arranged through it, except in cases of gross negligence by BubzRides.

9. Privacy

Your use of the platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how data is collected, used, and protected. By using BubzRides, you consent to our privacy practices.

10. Modifications to Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Travis County, Texas, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
